Besides being an international pianist,  Dr. Poom is currently an Assistant Professor at the University College of Fairview in Malaysia, the Artistic Director of the Steinway Youth Piano Competition in Thailand and and an Elite Fellow of University Malaya’s Music Faculty. Just recently in May 2023, he was awarded the Best Solo Performance Instrumental – Music by the BOH Cameronian 18th Arts Awards. An honour for a Thai pianist to win this in Malaysia. In 2022, Dr. Prommachart received the ‘Rector’s List of Honour for the Most Exceptional Graduates’ from the University of Montreal’s Doctor of Music programme, where he studied under Prof. Dang Thai Son and Prof. Jean Saulnier. He received his Bachelor of Music degree, Master of Music degree, and Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music in London (RCM) in 2014 on a full scholarship sponsored by H.R.H Princess Galyani Vadhana of Thailand and the RCM, under Prof. Yonty Solomon, Prof. Ian Jones, and later with Prof. Dina Parakhina. He obtained the most coveted Tagore Gold Medal during his time in London, which was handed to him by His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, upon graduation. He also studied with Prof. Vladimir Tropp at the Moscow Conservatory in Russia. The lyrical passion and virtuosity of Dr. Prommachart’s performances are highly regarded. After his performance of Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in G Minor with the London Musician Symphony Orchestra in 2010, he was applauded by critics who referred to him as “a youthful Ashkenazy” in Seen and Heard UK Concert Review. Furthermore, the Singaporean newspaper The Straits Times praised his performance, writing, “Still in his late twenties, Poom Prommachart is Thailand’s most accomplished and awarded pianist.” Dr. Prommachart’s first solo debut CD, comprising compositions by Medtner, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff, was released in April 2015 by Champs Hill Records in the United Kingdom. In Europe, America, and Asia, this premiere got rave reviews. He has also recorded with Steinway Spirio in New York, as well as the Prokofiev Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor with Maestro Jean- Francois Rivest and the Orchestre de l’Universite de Montreal. Dr. Prommachart’s international performing career began in 2010, when he won the gold medal in Serbia’s Fifth Isidor Bajic International Piano Competition. In addition, he won the First Prize in the Thailand International Piano Competition in 2011, and extended his success in 2013 by earning the First Prize in the Sussex International Piano Competition. The notable orchestras he has recently worked with include Montevideo Philharmonic Orchestra, London Musician Symphony Orchestra, Timisoara Philharmonic Orchestra of Romania, National Symphony Orchestra of Serbia, Worthing Symphony Orchestra, Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra, and Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. 피아노 방현 루 피아노 방현 루 (Bang Hean Loo) Adjunct lecturer at UCSI University’s Institute of Music    UCSI 대학교 음악원 겸임 출강   Born in Ipoh, Malaysia, Bang Hean was the winner of the First National Mozart Piano Competition in 1987, and two years later a scholarship from the music exam board, ABRSM enabled him to study at the Royal College of Music (RCM), London. Bang Hean’s early teachers in Malaysia include Serena Chow and Rickie Oui, while in England he studied with Yonty Solomon, John Blakely and Dennis Lee. He won multiple prizes at the RCM, and upon graduating received awards from the Anthony Saltmarsh Prize and the Countess of Munster Musical Trust to enable him to undergo postgraduate studies with Ilonka Deckers-Kuszler in Milan, Italy. Since his return to Malaysia Bang Hean has made regular appearances in solo recitals, chamber concerts as well as concerto performances. He has appeared in most major concert venues in Malaysia and has been featured as a soloist with various local orchestras, including the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO). An active chamber musician, he collaborates frequently with various instrumentalists and vocalists, and is a frequent guest pianist at the MPO chamber concert series. Bang Hean has performed abroad in countries such as England, Italy, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Cambodia, and Korea.  Bang Hean is an adjunct lecturer at the Institute of Music, UCSI University, and is frequently invited to adjudicate, examine, and conduct masterclasses both locally and abroad. As an award- winning pianist, Sarah Takagi has performed at Carnegie Recital hall, Kennedy Center, 92nd Y as well as on Public Television and Radio and Film.  As a concerto soloist, she has performed over a dozen concerti under the batons of BSO conductors Pascal Verrot and Carl St. Clair among others.  As a chamber musician, she has performed with the NEC Honors Chamber Ensemble, Radius and Chameleon Ensembles as well as with her own Duo PiantiCella with Longy-Bard College faculty cellist Michael Bonner.   Her solo CD “Lavender Bouquet” which offered classical music with Reiki healing energy was the Top Selling Album in 2008. In 2014, she released “@Play” her first all original improvisation CD recorded live from her solo show with guest artist singer Sarah Rogo.  As an improviser, she has performed on piano and synthesizers with other pianists, singers, dancers, mime, yoga dancer, as well as with interactive fractal images on screen.  In recent years, she has found herself as an improviser beyond her first instrument; improvising as a dancer, actress, singer, and a clown.  In November 2016, she was the featured speaker on Classical Improvisation for New England Piano Teachers’ Association. In addition to improvising, she has also composed several works for piano and voice including a solo piano piece “Ocean Voices” which was premiered at Roy Barnett Hall at the University of British Columbia for planetary healing conference in 2014. Most recently, she has crossed genre and medium into singing Jazz. She received her first piano tuition at six years of age at the Central Music School in Tbilisi. Celebrated as a child prodigy, she made her first orchestral appearance at just seven years of age. She gave a piano recital at ten years of age. Just one year later, she took part in a gala concert at the Tbilisi Opera in the presence of the former Georgian president Eduard Shevardnadze. The concert was broadcast live on television throughout the Soviet Union. Her encounter with and many years of tuition from Alexis Weissenberg have significantly influenced her artistic development. 피아노 신미정 피아노 신미정 (Clara Shin) Faculty an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien, Austria 오스트리아 빈 국립 음악대학 외래 교수 Member of the Piano duo “ShinPark” 피아노 듀오 ‘신박’ 멤버 World Culture Network ( WCN ) Artist    세계문화예술기획사(WCN) 소속 아티스트 피아니스트 신미정 (Clara Shin)은 오스트리아 빈에 거주하며 유럽을 주 무대로 선 굵은 연주 활동을 펼치고 있다. 오스트리아 피델리오 콩쿠르 입상과 더불어 일본 오사카에서 열린 오사카 국제 콩쿠르 피아노 부문에서 1위 및 4개의 특별상 수상등 , 여러 국제 콩쿠르에서 솔리스트와 실내악 연주자로서 놀라운 성과를 거두었다. 협연경력으로는 독일 바이에른 방송교향악단, 루마니아 방송교향악단, 슬로바키아 필하모닉 오케스트라, 북독일 교향악단 등 해외 유수 오케스트라와 저명한 클래식 공연장인, 빈 무직페라인 황금홀, 베를린 콘체르트하우스, 비엔나 콘체르트하우스, 크로아티아 리신스키홀, 루마니아 부카레스트 국립극장, 뮌헨 헤라클레스 홀 등 유럽의 저명한 공연장에서 공연하였다. 유럽의 여러 국제 음악 페스티벌에서 지속적으로 솔리스트와 실내악 연주자로 초청받고 있으며 독주자로도 두각을 나타내고 있지만 실내악에 대한 남다른 사랑과 재능으로 비엔나 유학시절부터 바리톤 안민수와 리트듀오(Lied-Duo)로 한국과 유럽 등지에서 활발히 활동하고 있고, 또 피아노 듀오 신박(ShinPark) 을 결성하여 유럽의 여러 실내악 축제와 오케스트라와의 협연 무대등 여러무대에서 한국인으로서는 최초로 국제적인 피아노듀오 커리어를 구축하며 전세계를 무대로 연주를 선 보이고 있다. 피아노 듀오 신박은 2015년 이탈리아 이스키아 섬에서 열린 국제콩쿠르에서 심사위원 전원 만장일치 최고점으로 동양인 최초 우승, 2015년 세계최고권의 콩쿠르이자 세계적 연주자의 등용문 콩쿠르도도 유명한 독일 뮌헨 ARD 국제 콩쿠르에서 2위를 수상하며 대한민국 음악인의 위상을 세계무대에 드높였다. 2016년엔 모나코에서 열린 몬테 카를로 국제 콩쿠르에서 심사위원 만장일치 우승을 차지하며 그 입지를 확고히 하였고 2017년 체코에서 열린 제 20회 슈베르트 국제콩쿠르에서 1위 수상과 더불어 슈베르트 최고 해석상인 특별상 까지 수상하였다 또한 다른 참가자들과의 압도적인 점수차로 인해 심사위원 모두가 다른 파이널리스트들중 2위를 수상하지 않고 3위 상만 수여하여 신박듀오를 2위없는 1위로 결정하여 현지 언론을 깜짝 놀라게 하였다. 피아니스트 신미정은 선화 예술 중.고등학교를 거쳐 서울대 음악대학 기악과 (백혜선,김귀현 사사)에서 학부를 최우등, 수석으로  졸업하고, 동대학교 대학원을 다니던 중 오스트리아로 유학을 떠났으며 빈 시립음악대학에서 피아노과 (Igo Koch, Thomas Kreuzberger 사사) 석사과정을 최우수 졸업하였다. 솔리스트로서뿐만 아니라 반주에도 재능이 있던 그녀는 기악 반주와 독일 리트(가곡반주) 가곡에도 관심이 많아 빈 시립음대 (Denis Benda 사사) 와 빈 국립음대 (David Lutz) 에서 기악반주과(석사) 과정과 독일리트반주(디플롬) 과정을 수료 하였고 또한 전문 피아노 듀오를 양성하기 위하여 세계최초로 피아노 듀오과를 창설한 독일 로스톡 국립음대에 피아노 듀오과(석사) 과정을 독일을 대표하는 세계적 피아노 듀오 한스-페터 슈텐츨과 폴커 슈텐츨 형제 듀오로부터 (Hans-Peter & Volker Stenzl) 신박듀오로 같이 활동중인 피아니스트 박상욱과 함께 최고점으로 졸업하였다. 세계적인 지휘자이자 피아니스트인 다니엘 바렌보임과, 실내악의 살아있는 전설 메나헴 프레슬러, 그리고 쟈끄 루비에 등으로 부터 마스터 클래스를 사사하였고, 오스트리아 빈에서 빈 삼총사를 대표했던 세계적인 피아니스트 파울 바두라-스코다를 사사했다. 2017년부터 서울 스프링 실내악 페스티벌과 경기 실내악 축제, 피스앤 피아노 페스티벌 등 국내에서도 활발한 활동으로 관객들을 만나고 있는 그는 2018년 올해 스위스 Boswil 에서 열리는 피아노 듀오 페스티벌에 초청되어 세계적인 피아노 듀오인 프랑스 듀오 라베크 자매 (Katia & Marielle Labeque), 독일의 탈-그뢰투이젠 (Duo Tal & Groethuysen) 듀오들과 함께 초청되어 스위스 데뷔무대를 가졌다. 피아니스트 신미정은 현재 2015년부터 오스트리아 빈 국립음대에서 외래교수로 재직중이다. 신미정 유튜브 채널

피아노 김정현 엔젤라 피아노 김정현 엔젤라 (Angela Jeong Hyun Kim) Assistant Professor at the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, USA 미국 남일리노이대학교 에드워즈빌 음악대학 조교수   Praised by international press as “apianist who meets the highest standard of technique,” Angela Jeong Hyun Kim isone of the rising young pianists showing her versatility through colorfulimagination, and intense musical expression. As a scholarship student at theEastman School of Music, Ms. Kim received the prestigious Henry Cobos EndowedPiano Prize for demonstrating excellence in piano performance. In 2017 Ms. Kimreceived the Free For All Concert Fund from the Boston Foundation. The fund wasused to bringing live classical concerts to underprivileged communities inGreater Boston area. The same year, Ms. Kim also received the Emerging ArtistAward from the St. Botolph Club Foundation in Boston. Ms. Kim began piano studies at the age offour, making her first public debut in her native South Korea, as the winner ofthe SoongEui Competition when she was nine years old. Upon turning sixteen, Ms.Kim came to the United States to continue her music studies with world-renownedpedagogue Wha Kyung Byun. During that time she toured and performed in Panama,and Guatemala, as a pianist with the New England Conservatory YouthPhilharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Benjamin Zander. She is a frequent soloistwith the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra, MI, with performances broadcastednationally on Interlochen Public Radio. Additionally, former GLCO Maestro,Matthew Hazelwood, invited Ms. Kim to tour Colombia as a soloist with theFilarmonica Joven de Colombia. As an avid performer of new music, Ms. Kimhas been collaborating with the Callithumpian Consort, an internationallyrecognized Boston based ensemble directed by pianist, Steve Drury. She workedclosely with many influential composers including Christian Wolff, Steve Reich,Gunther Schuller, Jonathan Harvey, Frederic Rzewski, and Unsuk Chin. During herDMA studies, Ms. Kim collaborated with Eastman’s Musica Nova where she workedwith Hans Abrahamsen and Chaya Czernowin. Along with the collaboration of percussionistAndre Sonner, Ms. Kim has also formed a noteworthy Boston basedPiano/Percussion Duo performing new music for the genre as one of the very fewgroups that exist in the country. As a collaborative pianist, Ms. Kim hasperformed with musicians such as Dylana Jenson, Margaret Batjer, MartinChalifour, and Paul Sonner. Ms. Kim frequently visits Interlochen Arts Academyfor the one week Institute to perform recitals with guest artists and faculty.Through her education at NEC and Eastman, Ms. Kim has worked with renownedpedagogues such as Donald Weilerstein, Paul Katz, Lawrence Lesser, LucyChapman, and Russell Miller to name a few. Ms. Kim has performed throughout the US,South America, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Korea. Her important artistic influences includeworld-renowned pianists and pedagogues Russell Sherman, and Lev Natochenny.Earning academic honors, Ms. Kim completed Bachelor and Master degrees, andGraduate Diploma at the New England Conservatory of Music, as a student of WhaKyung Byun. She has finished her Doctorate of Piano Performance, andLiterature, at the Eastman School of Music, studying with Natalya Antonova. Inthe past, Ms. Kim had served as a theory faculty at the New EnglandConservatory of Music.
