He has played and recorded with: Claudio Roditi, Antonio Sanchez, Chico Freeman, Esperanza Spalding, Bobby Watson, Victor Lewis, Bob Moses, Jerry Bergonzi, Gene Jackson, Alex Sipiagin, Boris Kozlov, Norman Hedman, Willie Martinez, Bevan Manson, Tony Malaby, George Garzone, John Lockwood, Bob Gullottii, Samba de Três, George Schuller, Ed Schuller, Avery Sharp, Donny McCaslin, Greg Osby, David Kikoski and others. He has appeared with his group on WERS-Boston radio station and in Eric In the Evening program on WGBH-Boston, performing original music and standards. At the age of seventeen Tsiganov began playing at St. Petersburg Jazz Philharmonic Hall, the largest jazz club in the Soviet Union, first as a member of the David Goloschokin Group (host band), and later with his own program. In 1989, he won the St. Petersburg Competition of Young Jazz Performers, and in 1990 was among winners of the 1st All-Russian Jazz Music Competition in Rostov-on-Don. These accomplishments had brought him wide recognition in Russia, and he began regular appearances in the national radio and TV programs. In 1991, Tsiganov came to the United States to continue his career in the motherland of jazz. He studied with Gary Burton at Berklee College of Music, and at the New England Conservatory of Music with Charlie Banacos and George Russell. In these past years, Tsiganov has performed solo and with his group in and around Greater New England, New York City at renown clubs such as Jazz Standard, Sweet Rhythm, American Museum of Natural History (broadcasted by WBGO Jazz 88.3), Regattabar, Topeka Jazz Festival, d’Ouro Jazz Festival (Portugal), Petropavlovsky Jazz Festival, (St. Petersburg, Russia), Chapada Jazz Festival (Mato Grosso, Brazil), Jazz nos Fundos (São Paulo, Brazil) among others and has toured Jazz clubs abroad throughout the United States, Europe, South America and Asia. 알렉세이 치가노프 유튜브 채널

As an award- winning pianist, Sarah Takagi has performed at Carnegie Recital hall, Kennedy Center, 92nd Y as well as on Public Television and Radio and Film.  As a concerto soloist, she has performed over a dozen concerti under the batons of BSO conductors Pascal Verrot and Carl St. Clair among others.  As a chamber musician, she has performed with the NEC Honors Chamber Ensemble, Radius and Chameleon Ensembles as well as with her own Duo PiantiCella with Longy-Bard College faculty cellist Michael Bonner.  Her solo CD “Lavender Bouquet” which offered classical music with Reiki healing energy was the Top Selling Album in 2008. In 2014, she released “@Play” her first all original improvisation CD recorded live from her solo show with guest artist singer Sarah Rogo.  As an improviser, she has performed on piano and synthesizers with other pianists, singers, dancers, mime, yoga dancer, as well as with interactive fractal images on screen.  In recent years, she has found herself as an improviser beyond her first instrument; improvising as a dancer, actress, singer, and a clown.  In November 2016, she was the featured speaker on Classical Improvisation for New England Piano Teachers’ Association. In addition to improvising, she has also composed several works for piano and voice including a solo piano piece “Ocean Voices” which was premiered at Roy Barnett Hall at the University of British Columbia for planetary healing conference in 2014. Most recently, she has crossed genre and medium into singing Jazz. After making her solo debut show at Lilypad with the Lefteris Kordis trio, she has appeared frequently in the Boston area performing with top musicians including Ran Blake, and has been invited to perform with top jazz musicians in Tokyo, Japan, this winter. His recital with performances that range from duo recitals in prominent concert seasons, such as Musica Insieme and Accademia Filarmonica Mozart in Bologna, Società del Quartetto di Vicenza, Asolo Musica, and Steinway Hall Boston to name a few,, to trio appearances as a founding member of the Fortuna Piano Trio with Kyung-Mi Lee and Michelangelo Carbonara, which won the 2007 Emanuel Ax-Villecroze Academy Award in France and toured South America (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay) and Italy. She not only performs, but also combines her music with paintings of various artists on stages such as Chagall, Monet, Van Gogh and so forth. In 2018, it was selected as a ‘stage tune up project’ by CJ Group and gave 13 concerts in 11 days and made a record of all the tickets sold out.   On top of being a violinist, she also works as a lyricist and a writer. Her book called A Moment that Painting is Audible and Music is Visible became the best seller within a week of its releasing date. It was translated and published in China as well.   Furthermore, her lecture concerts in which she combines a lecture with a concert became very popular in Korea and she has given more than 150 performances and was invited to play for the Korean presidential residence, the Blue House.   Additionally, Noella works as a lyricist and wrote many lyrics for K-pop as well as for the campaign song for Pyeong Chang Olympic called One victory in 2018.   She also works as an actress and has appeared in movies in U.S. and Korea and is selected as a female lead in Korean and American feature films. He is an instructor of guitar, electric bass, and improvisation, as well as a classroom instructor in jazz theory and composition at New England Conservatory Prep and CE. He also served as jazz faculty member for both San Diego State University and Cal State San Marcos. As of this writing, he is happily back in the city as co-associate conductor of Aladdin on Broadway. Jamie earned a Master of Music degree in opera conducting and a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.   Jamie Schmidt music director – conductor – pianist Jamie Schmidt’s eclectic career has taken him from his hometown of Madison, WI, to over 100 cities across North America: as music director of the national tour of The Lion King; music director of the first national arena tour of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular; and conductor for Liza Minnelli, who handpicked him to conduct her symphonic tour with the St. Louis, Atlanta, San Diego, Indianapolis, Roanoke, and Dallas Symphony Orchestras. As of this writing, he is happily back in the city as co-associate conductor of Aladdin on Broadway.   Jamie has served as music director/conductor for the Kennedy Center Spring Gala; the NY Drama League Gala honoring Angela Lansbury; the gala re-opening of the Eisenhower Theater at the Kennedy Center; and the world premiere of the new musical Meet John Doe at Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C. He was associate conductor/pianist for the Kennedy Center and Broadway runs of the revival of Ragtime.   As music director and pianist/conductor for the Long Wharf Theatre’s production of Guys and Dolls, Jamie created new, acclaimed orchestrations. He was the founding music director for American Girl Place Theaters in both Chicago and New York, supervising the original productions of The American Girls’ Revue and Circle of Friends, and conducting the original cast recordings of both shows.   A veteran of a baker’s dozen of Broadway shows as pianist, international credits include music director/pianist for the American delegation for the Spring Friendship Arts Festival in Pyongyang, North Korea; Artist-in-Residence with the Holland Music Sessions, Amsterdam; and Artist-in-Residence at Banff Centre for the Arts, Canada.   Jamie earned a Master of Music degree in opera conducting and a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
