He continued his later studies under Professor Vladimir Tropp and graduated with the highest honors. He then enrolled at Hanover ’s University of Music and Drama as a student of Professor Bernd Goetzke. He was first propelled onto the international stage when he won the 12th Robert Schumann Competition in Zwickau (1996) and the 6th Schubert Competition in Dortmund (1997). Having garnered an international reputation he went on to sign a recording contract in 1998, playing works by Schubert and Rachmaninoff. Recent recordings has been released 2014 by Genuin (Works by Mussorgsky and Schubert-Liszt), 2015 by Toccata classics (Works by Matvei Nikolaevsky), 2016 by Sony Classical (Les Noces by Stravinsky under Teodor Currentzis), b sharp records Berlin (Works by Piazzolla with Konzerthaus Kammerorchester Berlin). Mordvinov has since been invited to perform at some of the world’s major concert venues including the Konzerthaus and Philarmonie Berlin, Philarmonie im Gasteig Munich, Meistersingerhalle Nurnberg, Minato Mirai Hall in Yokohama, all the major concert halls in Moscow, Teatro Reale in Madrid, Megaron in Athens, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Kumho Art Center and Sejong Art Center in Seoul. His busy touring schedule takes him to many countries including most of European countries, Japan, Korea, China, USA, Colombia, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia. In past years he has participated in the Berlin International Music Festival, Braunschweig Classix Festival, Athens Festival, Festival Aix-en-Provence, Festivals Ars Longa, Homecoming and Art November in Moscow, Diaghilev Festival in Perm, Chopin Festival in Paris, Festival Obertöne in Tyrol. He has been working with conductors such as Yuri Simonov, Vladimir Verbitsky, Damian Iorio, Welisar Gentschew, Teodor Currentzis, Karen Kornienko, Vladimir Ponkin, Pavel Sorokin, Dmitry Vassiliev. His concerto appearances have seen him perform with the Munich Philharmonic, Berlin Kozerthaus Orchester, Moscow Symphony, Moscow Philharmonic, Ural Philharmonic, Minneapolis Symphony, MusicAeterna. In 2000, Mordvinov became a soloist at the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic Society and in 2004 was invited to become an assistant Professor at the Gnessin Academy of Music where he worked until 2010. Starting from 2016 he is teaching at The Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin and International Music Academy Anton Rubinstein Dusseldorf. His performing style shows great affinity with the romantic school of the piano masters of the first half of the 19th Century. Besides being an international pianist,  Dr. Poom is currently an Assistant Professor at the University College of Fairview in Malaysia, the Artistic Director of the Steinway Youth Piano Competition in Thailand and and an Elite Fellow of University Malaya’s Music Faculty. Just recently in May 2023, he was awarded the Best Solo Performance Instrumental – Music by the BOH Cameronian 18th Arts Awards. An honour for a Thai pianist to win this in Malaysia. In 2022, Dr. Prommachart received the ‘Rector’s List of Honour for the Most Exceptional Graduates’ from the University of Montreal’s Doctor of Music programme, where he studied under Prof. Dang Thai Son and Prof. Jean Saulnier. He received his Bachelor of Music degree, Master of Music degree, and Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music in London (RCM) in 2014 on a full scholarship sponsored by H.R.H Princess Galyani Vadhana of Thailand and the RCM, under Prof. Yonty Solomon, Prof. Ian Jones, and later with Prof. Dina Parakhina. He obtained the most coveted Tagore Gold Medal during his time in London, which was handed to him by His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, upon graduation. He also studied with Prof. Vladimir Tropp at the Moscow Conservatory in Russia. The lyrical passion and virtuosity of Dr. Prommachart’s performances are highly regarded. After his performance of Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in G Minor with the London Musician Symphony Orchestra in 2010, he was applauded by critics who referred to him as “a youthful Ashkenazy” in Seen and Heard UK Concert Review. Furthermore, the Singaporean newspaper The Straits Times praised his performance, writing, “Still in his late twenties, Poom Prommachart is Thailand’s most accomplished and awarded pianist.” Dr. Prommachart’s first solo debut CD, comprising compositions by Medtner, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff, was released in April 2015 by Champs Hill Records in the United Kingdom. In Europe, America, and Asia, this premiere got rave reviews. He has also recorded with Steinway Spirio in New York, as well as the Prokofiev Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor with Maestro Jean- Francois Rivest and the Orchestre de l’Universite de Montreal. Dr. Prommachart’s international performing career began in 2010, when he won the gold medal in Serbia’s Fifth Isidor Bajic International Piano Competition. These victories have resulted in numerous performances throughout Europe under the auspices of the Géza Anda Foundation. 피아노 방현 루 피아노 방현 루 (Bang Hean Loo) Adjunct lecturer at UCSI University’s Institute of Music    UCSI 대학교 음악원 겸임 출강   Born in Ipoh, Malaysia, Bang Hean was the winner of the First National Mozart Piano Competition in 1987, and two years later a scholarship from the music exam board, ABRSM enabled him to study at the Royal College of Music (RCM), London. Bang Hean’s early teachers in Malaysia include Serena Chow and Rickie Oui, while in England he studied with Yonty Solomon, John Blakely and Dennis Lee. He won multiple prizes at the RCM, and upon graduating received awards from the Anthony Saltmarsh Prize and the Countess of Munster Musical Trust to enable him to undergo postgraduate studies with Ilonka Deckers-Kuszler in Milan, Italy. Since his return to Malaysia Bang Hean has made regular appearances in solo recitals, chamber concerts as well as concerto performances. He has appeared in most major concert venues in Malaysia and has been featured as a soloist with various local orchestras, including the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO). An active chamber musician, he collaborates frequently with various instrumentalists and vocalists, and is a frequent guest pianist at the MPO chamber concert series. Bang Hean has performed abroad in countries such as England, Italy, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Cambodia, and Korea.  Bang Hean is an adjunct lecturer at the Institute of Music, UCSI University, and is frequently invited to adjudicate, examine, and conduct masterclasses both locally and abroad. As an award- winning pianist, Sarah Takagi has performed at Carnegie Recital hall, Kennedy Center, 92nd Y as well as on Public Television and Radio and Film.  As a concerto soloist, she has performed over a dozen concerti under the batons of BSO conductors Pascal Verrot and Carl St. Clair among others.  As a chamber musician, she has performed with the NEC Honors Chamber Ensemble, Radius and Chameleon Ensembles as well as with her own Duo PiantiCella with Longy-Bard College faculty cellist Michael Bonner.   Her solo CD “Lavender Bouquet” which offered classical music with Reiki healing energy was the Top Selling Album in 2008. In 2014, she released “@Play” her first all original improvisation CD recorded live from her solo show with guest artist singer Sarah Rogo.  As an improviser, she has performed on piano and synthesizers with other pianists, singers, dancers, mime, yoga dancer, as well as with interactive fractal images on screen.  In recent years, she has found herself as an improviser beyond her first instrument; improvising as a dancer, actress, singer, and a clown.  In November 2016, she was the featured speaker on Classical Improvisation for New England Piano Teachers’ Association. In addition to improvising, she has also composed several works for piano and voice including a solo piano piece “Ocean Voices” which was premiered at Roy Barnett Hall at the University of British Columbia for planetary healing conference in 2014. Most recently, she has crossed genre and medium into singing Jazz. Current projects include “The Ivory Menagerie” – a full-length recital with music inspired by animals that The Utah Review called “ingeniously crafted” – and the complete cycles of piano solo works by Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel. Her album „American Rhapsody“ (ANTES EDITION) featuring piano works by American composers, immediately won the silver and bronze medals in the instrumental performance solo/album category of the renowned Global Music Award in the USA. “Her playing is delightful” was the enthusiastic response from the American music magazine Fanfare. An outstanding soloist and much-sought-after chamber music partner, Catherine Gordeladze currently makes guest appearances at major concert venues and with renowned orchestras including the Georgian State Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Landestheater Coburg, the Mainz Philharmonic State Orchestra, the South-West German Chamber Orchestra of Pforzheim, the Europa Philharmonie and the Dortmund Philharmonic. She has performed in the lunchtime concerts broadcast by Hesse Radio in Frankfurt, in the Winners and Masters concert series at the Philharmonie im Gasteig in Munich, in the Mozart Society concerts at the Kurhaus of Wiesbaden, at The Next Generation III festival at the Harenberg City- Center building in Dortmund, at St Martin-in-the-Fields in London and at chamber music recitals in collaboration with such artists as violinist David Garrett and cellist Daniel Müller-Schott. She was presented with this distinction by the Mayor of Frankfurt, Peter Feldman, in a formal ceremony in a packed St. Paul’s church. Catherine Gordeladze has won awards in various competitions, including the International Chopin Piano Competition in Darmstadt. She has won the medal of the French Legion of Honour. During the award of the 2004/05 Bruno Heck prize by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, this “outstanding pianist” received a special prize in recognition of her “extraordinary achievement”. Throughout the course of her musical training, up until passing her concert exam, Catherine Gordeladze attained distinctions at the music colleges in Tbilisi, Frankfurt am Main and Weimar. She received her first piano tuition at six years of age at the Central Music School in Tbilisi. Celebrated as a child prodigy, she made her first orchestral appearance at just seven years of age. She gave a piano recital at ten years of age. Just one year later, she took part in a gala concert at the Tbilisi Opera in the presence of the former Georgian president Eduard Shevardnadze. The concert was broadcast live on television throughout the Soviet Union. Her encounter with and many years of tuition from Alexis Weissenberg have significantly influenced her artistic development.
