바이올린 이고르 유제포비치 바이올린 이고르 유제포비치 He previously served in the same role with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, The Hong Kong Philharmonic, and prior to that, as Assistant Concertmaster with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.   In addition to a busy orchestral performing calendar, Igor Yuzefovich continues to be an active chamber musician, often reuniting with the Monument Piano Trio which he co-founded in 2004. The trio made its concert debut in the US to critical acclaim and has since captivated audiences across the United States and in China. Its debut recording, featuring works by Brahms, Shostakovich and Schoenfield received high praise from critics and audiences alike.   While Mr. Yuzefovich’s concerts and recitals have taken him from Carnegie Hall to the Cairo Opera House, across Europe and throughout Asia, he has been equally committed to educating the next generation of musicians as an Artist Faculty at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory in Singapore and is sought after for solo and chamber music masterclasses around the world.   Born into a musical family in Moscow, Russia, Mr. Yuzefovich began his violin studies at the age of 5, and soon after enrolled at the Gnessin Music School, studying with Irina Svetlova. In 1991, Mr. Yuzefovich moved to the United States where he continued his violin studies and later earned advanced degrees from The Peabody Conservatory under the tutelage of world renowned pedagogue Victor Danchenko.   When he is not leading the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Mr. Yuzefovich can be seen and heard in his frequent appearances as guest concertmaster with many of world’s well-respected orchestras.

His present preferred concert instrument is a violin by Giovanni Dollenz, created in 1855 in Trieste. As a composer, he first appeared in 2018 with the opening performance of his piano quartet. He lives with his family in Berlin.

As such, teaching students and inspiring them to become interested in classical music, is more than a ‘Job’ to her. Whether for the renowned Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, the University of the Arts in Berlin or the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in Jerusalem, Ulla Benz loves to work with young people.   At a very young age she discovered her love and passion for music. She received her first violin lessons at the age of five; soon afterwards she was to become a multiple prize-winner at the German music competition Jugend Musiziert. She also received the Dieter-Ullrich-Musikförderpreis (Dieter-Ullrich-Sponsorship-Award). She studied with such distinguished teachers as Zakhar Bron, Liana Issakadze, Werner Scholz, Joachim Scholz, and Detlev Grevesmühl.   Ulla Benz has performed as a soloist with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the Georgian Chamber Orchestra, the Loh-Orchestra Sondershausen, the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra Asunción, the Orquestra de Camara Opus Belo Horizonte, and the Orquestra Sinfonica Municipal de Sao Paulo. She has performed with these orchestras in Europe, Asia, and South America. Ulla Benz performed the violin concertos by Brahms, Korngold and Prokoview on tours through South America between 2009 and 2016. During this times she performed in Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil.   As a chamber musician she was invited to international music festivals in Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, England, Ireland, France, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Israel, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. Ulla Benz was a violinist for the Norway String Quartet in 2003 and 2004. During this time she discovered her passion for teaching.   Ulla Benz was invited to India and Israel as a guest lecturer at the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in 2006. Here she experienced for the first time how important music and learning were, especially for children and youths from conflict areas. It was during this time that Ulla Benz recognised that music and learning could convey a new outlook on individual potential for young people.   She taught a national three-month master class in Paraguay in 2007. This master class was part of Sonidos de la Tierra, the national Paraguayan youth orchestra project, lead by it’s founder and conductor Luis Szaran. In the same year, Ulla Benz became the artistic director of Sonidos de la Tierra for their European tour. She also worked as violin coach for the Palestine National Youth Orchestra.   Upon the recommendation of Professor Berent Korfker Ulla Benz taught at the Yehudi Menuhin School, London. Here she deputised for Berent Korfker’s, teaching his class for several weeks during 2007 and 2008.   Ulla Benz was invited to South America and Asia several times during 2009 and 2018. She taught master classes at more than 10 universities, e.g. Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP), Instituto Universitario National de Artes (IUNA) and Instituto Superior de Arte Teatro Colon (ISATC) in Buenos Aires or at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (YSTCM) of the National University of Singapore. During that times she worked together with such renowned artists like the violinist Shlomo Mintz.   In 2010-2013 Ulla Benz was teaching at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, U.K. Since 2012 she became a professor in violin at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. In autumn 2015 she was appointed as professor for violin at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Since 2018 she is lecturer in violin at University of the Arts in Berlin.   In 2018, she became a guest lecturer at the UdK Berlin under the Mentoring Program for Highly Qualified Artists and Scientists and has been teaching violin since October.   Ulla Benz is an additional doctor, holds lectures on music medicine at congresses and has a teaching competency for violin as an additional qualification from the European Suzuki Association.   Ulla Benz’ pupils in Germany and abroad are prize-winners of national and international competitions and members of international youth orchestras. Many of her pupils have performed as soloists in Europe,   South America and Asia.

바이올린 리하이 벤다얀 바이올린 리하이 벤다얀 l   Professor Emeritus, Head of the Violin Class at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance l   Prof. at Lausanne University of Music Israeli-swiss violinist and pedagog, Head of the Violin Class at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.   Prof. Bendayan previously  held the position of Head of the Strings Department and for five years, until October 2020, the position of Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.   In parallel and for more than a decade Lihay Bendayan held the position of Professor of Violin at the HEMU – the Lausanne University of Music, site of Sion.   Started his violin studies with Prof. Michael Gaisler in Israel at the age of 5. At the age of 9 Lihay Bendayan performed to Maestro Isaac Stern who recommended him to the legendary teacher Ilona Feher, the teacher of Shmuel Ashkenazi, Pinchas Zuckerman and Shlomo Mintz, with whom he studied until the age of 13. He later studied with Prof. Yair Kless in Israel, Prof. Rodney Friend in London, Jean-Pierre Wallez in Geneva, Miriam Solovieff in Paris and during several years with the hungarian Virtuoso Tibor Varga in Switzerland.   Prof. Lihay Bendayan combines with passion his concert’s career with an intense pedagogical activity. He is regularly invited to give Master-classes at prestigious universities around Europe such as the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, the Royal Academy of Music KMH in Stockholm, Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, Hämburg and Würzburg Hochschules in Germany, the Faculty of Music at the University of Belgrade, the Cracow Academy of Music, and at international master-courses such as the London Masterclasses series, the Bavarian Academy of Music in Hammelburg, the Musicalta academy in France, the Ameropa Music Festival in Prague and others. His students from around the world are serving in key positions worldwide and are winners of international competitions.    

바이올린 헤르비히 잭 바이올린 헤르비히 잭 was born in Frankfurt/Main. He started to play the violin at age 5 and studied with Karl-Albrecht Herrmann, Edith Peinemann and Max Rostal. Scholarshipsfrom the “Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes” and from the “Rotary Foundation” made it possible for him to complete his education at Indiana University in Bloomington/Ind./USA as a member of the violin class of the legendary Josef Gingold.     From 1982 to 1995 Zack held the position of 1st Concertmaster of the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra.     As a soloist, Herwig Zack has performed and recorded under the baton of conductors such as Karl Münchinger, Ferdinand Leitner, Uri Segal, Yutaka Sado, Paul Nadler and Gilbert Varga; his musical partners have included Henryk Szeryng, Jean-Pierre Rampal, Trevor Pinnock, Grigori Zhislin, Peter Nagy, Bernd Glemser and Ingo Goritzki, among many other renowned artists. He has toured Europe, Israel, the USA, Australia, Japan, China, South America and Africa. Zack maintains a large repertoire of music including the famous masterpieces for violin as well as many lesser known and infrequently played compositions. He has extensively recorded for labels such as AVIE Records, Decca, Bayer Records, Podium, Mediaphon, Amadeo, Thorofon and A.M. Classic International. Johannes Saltzwedel of Kultur SPIEGEL praises his “apparently infinite musical empathy”, for Robert Maxham of FANFARE “even Oistrakh didn’t bring to the Ysaÿe Ballade the vibrancy with which Zack plays it”, Roderic Dunnett in The Strad calls him “an established master”, for Rob Barnett, MusicWeb International, “he is another Milstein in the making”.     Since 1980, when he was appointed associate assistant instructor at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, USA, Zack has enthusiastically dedicated himself to teaching as well and has held Master Classes in all over Europe, Japan, China, the USA, Israel, Australia and Chile. Since 1994 he has been Professor for Violin and Chamber Music at the “Hochschule für Musik“ in Würzburg. In April 2015 he was appointed Guest Professor to the Tokyo University of the Arts – Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku. Many of his students, among them Tobias Feldmann, Yasuka Morizono, Anne Luisa Kramb and Seiji Okamoto, have won prizes at prestigious competitions, both national and international; others have become members of well-known German orchestras such as the Münchner Philharmoniker, the Staatskapelle Dresden, the Staatskapelle Berlin, the Bamberger Symphoniker and the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester Hamburg, some in leading positions.    

바이올린 루드비히 뮐러 바이올린 루드비히 뮐러 Ludwig Müller, geboren in Leoben (Steiermark), studierte an den Musikhochschulen in Graz und Wien bei Valery Gradow und Klaus Eichholz, Günther Pichler und Ernst Kovacic. Sein Diplom im Konzertfach Violine erhielt er mit einstimmiger Auszeichnung.   Seit 1986 ist er Konzertmeister des Wiener Kammerorchesters und seit 1992 auch des Orquestra de Cadaques. Er ist Gastkonzertmeister bei der Deutschen Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, dem BBC Symphony Orchestra, dem OBC Barcelona, dem Orquestra de Castilla y Leon und dem Orquestra Gulbenkian. In dieser Funktion musizierte er mit Dirigenten wie Marc Albrecht, Rudolf Barschai, Ivor Bolton, Richard Eggar, Philippe Entremont, Adam Fischer, Reinhard Goebel, Thomas Hengelbrock, Heinz Holliger, Yakov Kreizberg, Sir Charles Mackerras, Sir Neville Marriner, Gianandrea Noseda, Krysztof Penderecki, Vasily Petrenko, Jukka Pekka Saraste, Günther Pichler, Jordi Savall, Heinrich Schiff und Stefan Vladar, sowie Yehudi Menuhin und Sándor Végh.   Als Solist und künstlerischer Leiter trat er in vielen renommierten Konzertzyklen u.a. in Wien (Konzerthaus und Musikverein), Salzburg (Mozarteum), Berlin (Philharmonie und Schauspielhaus), Paris (Theatre de Champs Elysees), New York (Carnegie Hall), Tokio (Suntory Hall), Osaka (Symphonie Hall) auf und spielte zahlreiche Werke für Rundfunk und auf CD ein.   Von 1988 bis 1998 spielte Ludwig Müller als Mitglied des Arcus Ensembles Wien Konzerte in ganz Europa, Israel, Japan und den USA und bestritt einen eigenen Abonnementzyklus im Wiener Konzerthaus.   Anlässlich der Eröffnung des Arnold Schönberg Centers Wien gründete Ludwig Müller 1998 das Aron Quartett Wien, das dort als „quartet in residence“ 10 Jahre lang einen eigenen Zyklus gestaltete. Darüber hinaus tritt das Quartett regelmäßig im Wiener Konzerthaus und im Wiener  Musikverein auf und ist Gast in zahlreichen internationalen Kammermusikzyklen und Musikfestivals. Die Gesamteinspielung der Streichquartette Arnold Schönbergs wurde von der internationalen Fachpresse als neue Referenzaufnahme dieser Werke bezeichnet. Anlässlich des 50.  Todestages Erich Wolfgang Korngolds erschien eine Gesamtaufnahme seiner Streichquartette, des Klavierquintetts und der Suite mit Henri Sigfridsson und des Streichsextetts mit Thomas Selditz und Marius Diaz.   Weitere Einspielungen des Quartetts umfassen Streichquartette von David Chaillou, Hans Eisler, Joseph Horowitz, Maurice Ravel, Dimitri Schostakowitsch, Franz Schubert, Ernst Wellesz, Kirill Zaborov, die Klavierquintette von Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco und das Streichquartett und Klavierquintett von Bruno Walter.   Seit 2008 gestaltet das Aron Quartett sein eigenes Kammermusikfestival im Schloß Laudon in Wien.     Ludwig Müller ist Gründungsmitglied des Korngold Ensemble Wien.

바이올린 아나트 말킨 알마니 바이올린 아나트 말킨 알마니 A versatile artist, violinist and violist Anat Malkin Almani has performed as soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the United States. She embarked on her first international tour at the age of 10 and later made her Carnegie Hall debut at age 16 under the baton of Alexander Schneider. Among the orchestras she has soloed with internationally are the Camerata Universidad Andrés Bello (Chile), Drammen Byorkester (Norway), Israel Chamber Orchestra, Israel Stage Orchestra, Sharon Orchestra (Israel), New York String Orchestra, Orquesta Filarmonica de Bogotá (Colombia), Orquesta Sinfonica de Salta (Argentina), and the Westchester Philharmonic. Performance broadcasts, interviews, and articles about her have appeared on Albanian, American, Bajan, Israeli, Latin American, and Russian press, radio, and television.   An avid chamber musician, Ms. Malkin is a member of the New York based Piazzolla Trio, a piano trio that regularly performs in the United States and abroad, and a guest artist with the Hudson Chamber Series in New York and Kassia Music in the greater Washington D.C. area. She is also a founding member of the prizewinning Malkin Duo, which has appeared around the world as recitalists, including several sold-out recitals in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and numerous critically acclaimed recital tours throughout Israel, Europe, and Latin America. The Duo has also appeared as soloists with orchestra and performed the world premiere of David Ward-Steinman’s Concerto for Two Violins, Perelandra. The Duo has an extensive repertoire for two violins and for violin and viola. Ms. Malkin has performed in a myriad of chamber groups with such distinguished artists as Emanuel Borok, Emilio Colon, Liza Ferschtman, David Geber, Jerry Grossman, Igor Gruppman, Mikhail Kopelman, Julia Lichten, Anthony McGill, Joseph Silverstein, and Aviv Quartet, inter alia.   In addition to her performing career, Ms. Malkin is passionately committed to education and teaching. She is a sought-after pedagogue, giving master classes regularly around the globe. With a musical heritage deeply rooted in the Russian and Franco-Belgian schools, she is dedicated to passing those traditions on to future generations. She serves on the violin and viola faculties of the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Division; the violin and viola faculties of Eugene ON Classics, an international online music academy based in Seoul, Korea; the artist faculty of the Academy of Music Festival in New York; and several other summer festivals, and has a private studio in New York. Her students include laureates of international competitions such as the 2020 Leonid Kogan International Violin Competition junior division and the 2021 Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition junior division. For many years, she also served as a teaching artist for Manhattan School of Music’s Distance Learning Program.     A pupil of her father, Professor Isaac Malkin, Josef Gingold, and Boris Belkin, Ms. Malkin is a graduate of the Juilliard School and of the Maastricht Conservatorium, where she graduated cum laude. Ms. Malkin has the honor of being the dedicatee of many new compositions, including a work by Samuel Adler. Henry Roth, in his book Violin Virtuosos from Paganini to the 21st Century, named her as one of the “gifted young violinists who are among the vanguard leading the march of violin art into the 21st century.”

바이올린 타티아나 드미트리아데스 바이올린 타티아나 드미트리아데스 Violinist Tatiana Dimitriades joined the Boston Symphony Orchestra at the beginning of the 1987-1988 concert season.  She has played under the music directorship of maestros Seiji Ozawa, James Levine, and Andris Nelsons, in addition countless guest conductors.  She is also active as a soloist and chamber musician.  Highlights of her solo performances include appearances at Carnegie Hall with the Senior Concert Orchestra, at the Grand Teton Festival playing the Mendelssohn Concerto, and at Weill Hall, under the sponsorship of the Associated Music Teachers of New York.    Born and raised in New York, Ms. Dimitriades attended the Pre-College Division of the Juilliard School.  She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and an Artist Diploma from the Indiana University School of Music, where she was awarded the Performer’s Certificate in recognition of outstanding musical performance.  A recipient of the Lili Boulanger Memorial Award, Ms. Dimitirades has also won the Guido Chigi Saracini Prize presented by the Academia Musicale Chigiana of Sienna, Italy, on the occasion of the Paganini Centenary, and the Mischa Pelz Prize of National Young Musicians Foundation’s Debut Competition in Los Angeles.     Ms. Dimitriades is a former member and frequent guest of the Boston Artists Ensemble and was a member of the Walden Chamber Players.  She can also be heard regularly in chamber music ‘Prelude’ concerts with BSO colleagues at Symphony Hall in Boston and at Ozawa Hall at Tanglewood. She and her husband, pianist Jonathan Bass, perform frequently as the Boston Duo. Tatiana Dimitriades was concertmaster of the Newton Symphony Orchestra and the New Philharmonia Orchestras, and has appeared on numerous occasions as concerto soloist with these and other Boston area orchestras.

바이올린 아시 마타티아스 바이올린 아시 마타티아스 Violinist Asi Matathias, protege of Pinchas Zukerman, is already recognized as one of the most celebrated talents of his generation. He made his debut at the age of 14 with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Zubin Mehta, displaying a musical maturity and inspiration far beyond his years. This success was immediately followed by another invitation from Maestro Mehta to perform with him in the following season. Since then, he has performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras across the globe with such conductors as Eliahu Inbal, , Dan Ettinger, Horia Andreescu, Eduard Topchjan, Leon Botstein, Frederic Chaslin, the late Mendi Rodan and Gints Glinka. Mr. Matathias has recorded for the BBC, CBC, WQXR, IBA and ORF. He is a frequent recitalist and has performed extensively throughout Europe, Asia, the US, South America and Israel, in foremost venues like Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium, Zankel Hall and Weil Recital Hall, 92nd Street Y in New York, Berlin Philharmonie, Izumy Hall in Japan, Liederhalle in Stuttgart, Bronfman Auditorium in Tel-Aviv, Harbin Opera House and The National Arts Center in Canada. As an enthusiastic chamber musician, he has collaborated with renowned artists such as Yefim Bronfman, Nikolaj Znaider, Pinchas Zukerman, Renaud Capucon, Nobuko Imai and Frans Helmerson. He has played in Festivals such as the Jerusalem International Chamber Music Festival, The Con Anima Festival in Austria, the Vienna Bezirk Wochen Festspiele, the Israel Festival, Prussia Cove in England and other festivals around the world. Mr. Matathias began playing the violin when he was six years old. In Israel, he studied with Chaim Taub, and became the youngest student to be enrolled at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna. He also studied with violinists Aaron Rosand and the late David Nadien. Matathias was awarded the 2017 career grant from “Salon de Virtuosi” in New York. He was also awarded a diploma of excellence and has been supported by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation since 1997. Matathias earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, where he was a long time student of Pinchas Zukerman and his teaching associate Patinka Kopec

바이올린 마크 다넬 바이올린 마크 다넬 Marc Danel grew up in Lille, France, where both he and his sister learned violin with Jezdimir Vujicic. He continued his studies with Prof Igor Ozim in Cologne graduating with high hours in 1992. In 1991, he founded the Danel Quartet, studying extensively with the Amadeus and Borodin Quartets, as well as with Pierre Penassou, Hugh Maguire, Walter Levin and Fiodor Druzhinin. As leader of the quartet, he was major prizewinner of all the six competitions they entered between 1991 to 1995, including Evian, London and St Petersburg. Since 1991, Marc Danel has performed 2500 concerts with the quartet including 25 performances of the complete cycle of Shostakovitch quartets and numerous performances of the Beethoven, Weinberg and Bartok cycles in the major halls in Europe, USA, Russia, China, Japan, Taiwan, South America and Central Asia. The quartet have recorded more than 20 CDs, garnering numerous awards in Europe and the US. The quartet have championed the great but neglected soviet composer Mechtislav Weinberg, playing his quartets extensively since the ‘90s and recording the all of his 17 string quartets, (2009). For Weinberg’s centenary this year, the quartet will give 7 performances of the complete cycle of quartets, some of which the quartet have premiered. The quartet residence at Manchester University. Marc Danel is artistic leader of the Dutch National String Quartet Academy (NSKA), many students of which have won major competitions. A highly sought-after teacher, he teaches at CNSDM Lyon and IMEP Namur, and at Manchester University where the quartet are artists in residence. He has also given Masterclasses in Europe, USA, Japan, Taiwan, Bielorussia and has a regular collaboration with the National Youth Orchestra of Chile.
